Totally just a brain fart moment. Not a big deal imho. And yet it would somehow live rent free in my mind haha. Every so often I’d be minding my own business and then scrunch up and cringe when I randomly remembered the time I took an Olympian’s chair lol.
完全にただのポカだね。大したことじゃないと思う。でも、頭の中ではずっと覚えてるだろうな。そして時々、何も考えずに普段通りの生活をしている時に、オリンピック選手のために用意された椅子に自分が座ってしまったことを思い出して、思わず「うわぁ」ってなるんだろうな(笑)

Probably on auto-pilot from following around these local event staffers (like the guy in green who brought the chair). Took him a second to process why the staffer was showing him the chair (“he wants me to sit down…? Oh, shit!”) Easy mistake when you’re distracted.
おそらく地元のイベントスタッフ（椅子を持ってきた緑の服の人）の指示に従う中で自動操縦状態だったんだろうね。スタッフが椅子を見せてる理由を理解するのに少し時間がかかって（「彼は僕に座って欲しいのか…？あ、やばい！」）気が散っているときには簡単に起こるミスだよ。

Especially since it’s not really advised to make someone sit on a chair if they’re feeling faint. If they lose consciousness they could fall from the chair and hurt themselves even more. It’s better to let them sit on the ground as comfortably as possible, or even make them lie down.
特に気分が悪いときに椅子に座らせるのはあまり勧められないよね。意識を失うと椅子から落ちてさらに怪我をする可能性があるから。地面にできるだけ快適に座らせるか、横にならせるのが良いんだよ。

She was diagnosed with a tumor 4 days before the Olympics.
It is at the coccyx, so it probably pulled on something. She was feeling a lot of pain during her match and had to stop it. I think she passed out at some point during the break

Edit: while looking for an update on her health (she had surgery on the 31, in Paris where she lives) the article mentioned she was diagnosed in February, but chose not to remove it immediately as it was benign and she was unaware it could cause pain.
I read the 4 days on another article earlier today and I don’t know where they got the information or why they published it, but I am making the edit to correct my comment
